              Purchase Awards
Those who wish to support the community's annual Art in the Park Festival participate in the Purchase Award Program by prepaying for artwork to be purchased on the day of the festival. The program encourages and attracts quality artists, and supports the cultural viability of Winfield. Endowments and Memorials The Council maintains the Emily Caton Williams Memorial Endowment, established by the Caton family. The endowment funds an annual artist workshop series. Memorial funds have been established with the Council in the names of Cliff & Dollie Barnhart, Dorothy Hinkley, Connie Dietrick, Bonnie Drennan, and Sue Jean Covacevich . The Covacevich fund is restricted to visual arts scholarships, while the others are unrestricted.

              Sponsorship

Specific projects and events, such as the Kansas Voices writing contest, scholarships, and Arts in Education, are supported by businesses and corporations who underwrite a portion of the budget.
