WAHC Permanent Collection
The Winfield Arts & Humanities Council maintains a collection 750 plus pieces of original artwork. The purpose of the collection is to support local and regional artists by purchasing artwork in a variety of styles and media, to continue to build and maintain a quality collection, and to make it available to members of the community by placing pieces in public spaces for viewing.
Included in the collection of original art work are paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, as well as drawings and prints (etchings, lithographs, and block prints), posters, pottery, sculpture, photographs, and folk art. Most of the posters are reproductions. All pieces are available for loan to organizations public and private for a period of 6 months to 2 years, through the Art on Loan program.
